Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman on Sunday issued an order preventing the closure of a Kiryat Shmona frontal emergency room that was ordered closed in April by the Health Ministry. Litzman stated the facility is essential to the public and therefore, must remain operational, adding he hopes to personally visit the city in the near future.

**A Netanya branch of Yad Sarah on Ichilov Street was vandalized for a fourth time, with windows smashed, doors broken and other damage reported. Police are investigating.

** FM Lieberman in May will respond to numerous invitations to visit European nations, including France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Holland.

**Union of Local Authority officials report that due to budgetary cuts, the Education Ministry plans to dismiss 1,400 teachers employed in rural areas.
