Noam and Aviva Shalit will on Tuesday meet with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu as they continue efforts to pressure the government to act towards obtaining the release of their son Gilad.

The meeting, scheduled for the afternoon, is the first with the prime minister since he took office.

Mr. Shalit on Tuesday denied media reports quoting him as saying he does not plan to give the prime minister any ‘days of grace’ and if the current administration does not place the release of Gilad atop its agenda, the Shalit family and supporters will resume public campaigns for Gilad’s release.
