According to officials from Bank Leumi and Yediot Achronot, their join Pesach assistance campaign will provide NIS 350 in yomtov goods for 3,000 families in Eretz Yisrael. It marks the fifth consecutive year that the bank worked to assist the needy on erev yomtov.

The program calls on Israelis to donate NIS 10 via SMS text message, resulting in the ability to provide some assistance for the 3,000 families.

Organizers explain the list of needy families is obtained from social service officials in a number of cities around the country.
