Based on statistics from last year, international phone service provider 013-Netvision expects a 300% increase in telephone calls to chutz l’aretz on erev Pesach.
013 officials explain the increased call volume will begin on Tuesday, reaching its peak on Wednesday, erev Pesach. The heaviest call volume is too the United States, Russia, Ukraine, England, France, Canada and Germany the daily HaMevaser reports.
Senior marketing officer Tzili Belkind explains it is important for the company to assist subscribers in reaching family members and friends abroad, and towards that end, the special offer permitting calls abroad at local rates was implemented. New subscribers may enjoy considerable savings by taking advantage of the plans offered, Belkind stated.
