Bituach Leumi (National Insurance Institute) officials announce monthly assistance payments will be moved up ahead of Pessach as has become standard practice.

Residents receiving supplementary income, unemployment insurance and other monthly assistance will see the money deposited in their accounts ahead of scheduled after Minister of Welfare & Social Service Yitzchak Herzog and Bituach Leumi Director-General Esther Domenicini agreed on the move.

Unemployment insurance will be deposited in bank accounts on Tuesday, April 7th instead of the 17th and supplementary income should be deposited on Monday April 6th instead of the 14th.

Herzog called the move a necessity to assist those in need cover basic holiday expenses.
