Weapons Shipment Intercepted at Rabin Bridge Crossing

A shipment of automatic weapons and other armaments headed to terrorists in PA (Palestinian Authority) autonomous areas throughout Yehuda and Shomron was intercepted at the Rabin Bridge Crossing near Eilat.

A shipment of clothing and six large steel metallic plates arrived from Jordan at the border crossing three weeks ago. Questions were asked regarding the beams, their origin and intended use in Israel. While the questioning was taking place, officials had decided to hold up the delivery of the order.

This week, the owner of the plates informed customs officials that the plates are intended for the soles of shoes and if they are not approved, he wishes to have them returned to Jordan.

Officials decided to conduct a security inspection and a hole drilled into one of them revealed it is hollow. The decision was made to cut it open and a handgun wrapped in a towel was discovered. Police, bomb-demolition technicians and firefighters were summoned as the decision was made to open all of the metallic plates.

16 heavy machineguns were found along with six M-16 automatic rifles, three handguns, 23 magazines (bullet cartridges) and two electric shocker wands.

  1. Good Catch! The question is, – is the government giving this the major press coverage on the world stage that it deserves? This is a miniature “Karina A” re-play. (Karina A, for those who forgot, was a huge ship the Israeli navy grabbed, that was loaded with THOUSANDS of weapons of all different types!) The arabs always get plenty of press coverage about how the “cruel Israelis” delay them at check points with security checks. Well, – THIS IS WHY!!!
