During the final days of the Olmert administration, the IDF continues implementing the policy decision to relax restrictions on PA (Palestinian Authority) residents, including the removal of checkpoints.

The Beit Iba and Kafr Tzara Checkpoints located in the Shechem district are being removed by the IDF on Sunday.

Leaders of Jewish communities throughout Yehuda and Shomron lament the decision, warning the diminishing IDF presence will only result in increased terror against Jews living and traveling in Yosh.
