Friday Morning News Briefs from Eretz Yisrael


IDF soldiers involved in counter-terror operations throughout Yehuda and Shomron arrested two suspects on Thursday night.

**At least one rocket was fired into southern Israel on Thursday night. No injuries were reported.

**Air force colleagues of missing navigator Ron Arad during the night visited the Shalit family tent opposite the Prime Minister’s Residence. They explained that if Gilad is not released, it will create a division among the people following all the pain during the years pertaining to Ron.

**The Jerusalem Post on March 12th announced it was “dressing up” and ran an ad-free site for the Purim Yerushalayim holiday. Site marketing officials indicate they believed the move will increase awareness of ads on the page.

**The Tel Aviv District Court refused this week’s second request from convicted spy Nachum Manbar who is seeking early release after serving two-thirds of his sentence.

**Two Kassam rockets landed in open areas in the Eshkol Regional Council of Friday morning. Baruch Hashem, there were no injuries.
