Senior Hamas leader Moussa Abu Marzouq during his recent visit to Gaza from Syria received a new videotape of captive IDF soldier Gilad Shalit, Kuwaiti media reports.

According to the report, the video shows Shalit in good health. In addition, Marzouq reportedly received a letter from the soldier, which he forwarded to Damascus.

According to Hamas leaders in Gaza and officials in the Prime Minister’s Office in Israel, they are unaware of any such “new video”. The Kuwaiti report however states there is indeed a video, which Hamas is holding for a later stage of negotiations with Israel for a prisoner release deal.
