Hundreds of students protested outside offices of Tel Aviv University on Wednesday in protest of a decision to close a number of buildings during off hours, buildings that are currently accessible to students during those hours. The move appears linked to university efforts to cut costs.
Student union official leading the protest explained they are unwilling to quietly accept such a unilateral decision, which will lead to a cessation of activities that take place in the campus buildings after regular class hours.
