The Fatah-aligned leadership in Shechem, including the area governor, Jamal Muhison, announced on Wednesday if the negotiations with Israel fail, the only alternative remaining to Fatah is armed resistance. “Whoever believes negotiations is Fatah’s only option is mistaken”.

Muhison stressed the option of armed resistance is still a viable one, the daily HaMevaser reports.

Over 100,000 Fatah supporters stretched over 2 miles in the Shomron autonomous city to take part in the Fatah support rally on Wednesday. The event was part of ongoing Fatah-sponsored activities to increase support for the ruling party of Abu Mazen.
