Ichud HaLeumi has formulated its list of demands as talks towards entering the new government coalition move ahead. The nationalistic party is seeking one ministerial post. It is also seeking to obtain government approval for the many unapproved outposts in Yehuda and Shomron, a difficult move since doing so would elicit an outcry from the United States and European community, and have immediate ramifications pertaining to any diplomatic process with the PA (Palestinian Authority).
Ichud is also calling on the new coalition to commit to re-designating communities throughout Yehuda and Shomron as priority areas, offering increased housing assistance, tax incentives and other perks that existed a number of years ago.
