Israeli officials in response to a report of the International Atomic Energy Agency continue to express concern, stating the recent information released by the international agency shows that Iran is working with determination towards completion of its project and the construction of atom bombs. This is in line with Israeli intelligence community assessments.

Regarding the Syrian front, Israel is increasingly worried over the fact that Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad on the one hand speaks of peace with Israel while on the other, working clandestinely towards building a nuclear reactor.
