Three people were lightly wounded in a Katyusha rocket attack in the western Galil on Shabbos morning. At least two others were treated for hysteria.

Community members thought the explosion heard at about 8:00am was related to the severe winter storm but soon realized there was smoke emanating from a neighbor’s home, confirming their fears of a rocket attack. A 122mm rocket slammed into the residential community.

The family members were calling out for assistance as they were asleep when the rocket struck their home.

The injured family members were transported to a Nahariya Hospital.
