Yisrael Beitenu MK Stas Misezhnikov, who heads the party’s negotiating team, reported on Monday that Chaim Ramon, chief negotiator for Kadima, has indicated the party will accept almost all of Yisrael Beitenu’s wish list, including civil marriage, the sale of pork products, government reform and other demands, with the exception of the citizenship loyalty bill.
Misezhnikov expressed satisfaction following the talks on Monday, undoubtedly cause for concern in the Likud camp, hoping to pull Yisrael Beitenu in towards building a parliamentary majority.
Yisrael Beitenu leader Avigdor Lieberman is not commenting, having left Israel earlier in the week for a vacation in Minsk, leaving the negotiations in the hands of Stas Misezhnikov.
