Cypriot authorities at the end of last week released statements clarifying a ship heading for Hamas-controlled Gaza was not carrying weapons as feared, but raw materials which could be used in the manufacture of weapons.
Cypriot officials unloaded some 90 containers, which they are impounding, storing them at a naval base.
Iranian officials last week issued a statement as well, stating allegations that the vessel was carrying weapons were baseless.
