State Comptroller Justice Michal Lindenstrauss on Sunday will submit the largest-ever state comptroller’s report, numbering some 2,000 pages, spanning no less than 60 comprehensive investigations. The report will be submitted to the prime minister and the chair of the Knesset Audit Committee, and it will be published in May. The law demands the prime minister respond to the report within 12 weeks.
Some of the investigations covered in the report is the nation’s war against organized crime and the battle to reduce the number of traffic accidents, fatalities and injuries.
