Knesset Speaker (Kadima) Dalia Itzik rejects the post election statement from Binyamin Netanyahu, that he will be the next prime minister of Israel. She stated “traditionally, the president selects the leader of the largest party, and in this case, it is Tzipi Livni.”

When asked to address a scenario of Lieberman and Netanyahu joining together, giving Netanyahu a majority, and an even stronger one with right-wing parties, Itzik stated Livni will be the next prime minister.
