Yisrael Beitenu leader Avigdor Lieberman told his audience that he owes his popularity to three sources, Israel Police, Arab MK Dr. Ahmed Tibi, and Rav Ovadia Yosef. “There is no doubt that the first prize goes to the Rav” he added.
His statements were made in Russian on the Russian channel only, seeking to recoup lost votes as a result of sharp anti-Yisrael Beitenu statements released by Rav Ovadia Shlita in a motzei Shabbos drasha, telling listeners that a vote for Yisrael Beitenu Party, strengthens the Soton.
Dr. Uzi Landau, number two on the party list, confirmed that the party set its election goal at 20 seats.

uh.. I was just pointing out that when you start to use a degenerate level of discourse, you cannot expect anything less fromt he recieving end.
I am not saying it is right or wrong that he reacted this way. But if you want to ensure civil discourse, start being civil yourself.
I cannot imagine R’ Yaakov Kamientzky or R’ Moshe or R’ Shlomo Zalman etc. etc. etc. calling a foe the ‘Satan’.
At a certain point in life one tends to get beyond name calling.
Some guys dont chap that Lieberman is a big blessing in disguise. Many Jews all over the world have a problem with visiting israel because they are the children of ex Israelis and as a result citizenship is forced on them. As a consquence they are forced to join the army or at the bearest minimum go through a bureaucratic hell as they get their citizenship. With Liebermans idea of No army no citizenship, many Jews will say Great! We can visit Israel and we wont have to be citizens cos we dont do the army!
