Labor Party leader Ehud Barak stated over the weekend that Avigdor Lieberman and his Yisrael Beitenu Party is not a “natural coalition partner” as far as he is concerned, but unlike some of his party colleagues, he is not ruling out the possibility of sitting in a coalition with Lieberman.
Barak stressed ongoing efforts to obtain the release of Gilad Shalit, as well as securing a stable ceasefire in Gaza; stressing Israel will not hesitate to act when necessary to halt Hamas rocket attacks into Israel.
