According to a recent report, the Ponovezh Yeshiva in Bnei Brak has begun showing signs that it is suffering from the global economic downturn.
Sources say that the Yeshiva administration has stopped offering milk for Yeshiva students to put in their coffee. Instead, the kitchen staff is preparing coffee with a small amount of milk already added.
Also, the Yeshiva was unable to pay their employees on time this month. The Yeshiva administration reportedly attributed the delay to the failure of some students to pay tuition fees.
