During a discussion with Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, Spain’s Foreign Minister Miguel Moratinos explained his country’s position, a nation of law, whose judicial system functions independently of the political arena. As such, Spain plans to move ahead with the lawsuit filed against senior officials in Israel.
Moratinos told Livni on Friday that the government is working to amend the law to prevent lawsuits of alleged war crimes, expressing optimism that the law would be amended in the next month or two. In the meantime, a lawsuit was filed against seven Israeli politicians and military commanders (as reported HERE on YWN).
Legal experts in the Israel Foreign Ministry do not believe the amended law in Spain will halt the process already in the works against the seven mentioned above.

Hypocrites!
This from the country that brought you the Inquisition.
(NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition…where is the comfy chair?)
So why aren’t charges brought against Haniyeh, Mashaal, Zahar, Abbas and etc. for all of the Israeli civilians killed?
Hello Tzippi!
You did not hear that from your Chareidim bashing friends:
Yehudim are in GOLUS!
(and you are part of the problem & not part of the solution!).
Why are there still jews in Spain?! They threw us out once, and their attitude towards us hasn’t improved much. Why would jews want to live in such an abti-semitic country?
Isn’t it obvious that the Spaniards have to do this? When judgement day arrives BB”A and Spain is incriminated for the atrocity of the Inquisition, they will claim that was over 500 years ago and since then they did teshuva. So they unwittingly exposed their deepest feelings. They are prosecuting the men who protected Jewish lives by defending Israel against vicious attackers. Their point: Let the jews be killed again! Don’t let anyone ever say Spain made Teshuva! Their rightful judgement for their own atrocities is now being written.
