3 Days of Tefillos on Behalf of Eretz Yisrael


kosel3.jpgThree consecutive days tefillos will take place next week in the holy city of Meron at Kever Rashbi (Rav Shimon Bar Yochai) due to the ‘matzav’ (difficult situation) in Eretz Yisrael.
 
The event is being sponsored by the Linas HaChesed tzedaka, due to the difficult economic situation around the world, which is hitting mosdos torah very hard.
 
Organizers explain they have consulted with Gedolei Yisrael, who have instructed them to daven at the Kever Rashbi in the hope of enlisting the merits of the Rashbi and his son Rabi Eliezer, on behalf of Am Yisrael, especially the situation in which many young people have been stricken with illness, leaving so many orphans r”l.
 
Special tefillos will be held addressing the drought situation, with experts stating the water situation in Eretz Yisrael is now critical.
 
The event will begin on Tuesday, Parshas B’Shalach, and continue without interruption through Thursday. The conclusion will be a tefilla rally including slichos and shofar blowing in the hope of meriting Chasdei Hashem.
 
Participants will recite tehillim and tefillos for 72 consecutive hours, concluding with special tefillos at the end, including Parshas HaMan, and Shnayim Mikre V’Echad Targum.
 
Subsidized rates will be offered for buses that will enable participants to join from around the country.
