Muhmad Mansur, 20, from Majdal Crom, was walking on the Tiveria tayelet when some 20 Jewish youth decided to attack him. Tiveria police have made nine arrests, including eight minors 14-16-years-old.  Police believe the youths came to the tayelet with the intention of attacking an Arab.
 
Police add that while the suspects in custody deny any involvement in the assault, they were captured on video by cameras installed on the tayelet as part of the “Crime Free City” program. Police Inspector Amir Golan adds the video clearly shows the 20 youths pouncing on the Arab victim, without mercy, and then leaving him on the ground after beating him over his entire body.
 
Mansur is employed by the Fox clothing chain, and was asked to come to the city to give a boost to their branch in the city. He was residing in a local hotel. He remains in a surgical unit in the city’s Poriah Hospital.
