Orphans of IDF soldiers are taking their case to court in an effort to receive benefits for those over 21.
The organization representing orphans over the age of 21 are petitioning the Tel Aviv District Court, seeking official recognition for their cause from the Defense Ministry.
According to attorney Ilan Yunash, to date, the Defense Ministry has refused to acknowledge the organization as an official body representing IDF orphans.
The law refers to orphans as those who have not yet marked their 21st birthday.
