Newly-elected US President Barak Obama’s Mideast envoy, George Mitchell, is expected to arrive in the region this week. He will be holding high-level talks including with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, as well as meeting with PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) in Ramallah.
Officials on Capitol Hill report Mitchell will be focusing on the implementation of a solid long-lasting Gaza ceasefire.
President Obama has stated he remains committed to Israel’s security and its right to defend itself. He also stated that his administration will remain a close ally of Israel and he is placing Mideast peace-making efforts high on his administration’s list of priorities.
The atmosphere in Israel surrounding the appointment of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is one of caution. As First Lady, Clinton’s pro-PA policies were quite open and evident to all and no major changes in her position have been detected in recent years.

He will be there to report whether Hammas is on steroids or not.
If the atmosphere in Israel surrounding the appointment of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is one of caution, what do you think the atmosphere about George Mitchell is?!
He is the son of a Lebanese immigrant mother, and of an Irish father who when orphaned was adopted by a Lebanese family.
James Zogby, president of the Arab American Institute, said appointing Mitchell would show Obama’s determination to reclaim leadership on Middle East peace issues.

It didn’t take long. Jewish blood is cheap to these people. Which Hillary will be Sec. of State? The one who conned Jews in NY into voting for her?
Remember Mitchell’s approach under Bill Clinton. Will Jews ever learn their lesson? Just keep voting for these anti-semites.
