23-year-old Moshe Avitan, a resident of Yishuv Shvut Rachel near Shilo, the victim of the shooting attack near Kochav HaShachar on Monday night, is reported in serious condition in Jerusalem’s Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.

According to paramedics operating on the scene, he was shot in the cheek and his condition deteriorated quickly. His wife was seated in the vehicle when terrorists opened fire from a passing vehicle. She sustained very light injuries. Moshe was transported to the trauma unit of Hadassah by chopper.
