Israel Police on Monday morning were on hand in the Jabel Mukaber area of the capital, a predominately Arab neighborhood and home of the terrorist response for the Merkaz HaRav terror attack last year, which left eight students dead and others wounded.

After a lengthy legal process, the green has been given and two floors of the family’s home are being sealed off with cement after Israel lost the battle to raze the entire home. The family, Israeli Arab citizens tried to petition the courts against the move, but it was decided the two floors used by the terrorists could be sealed by pouring cement into them.

Arab youths pelted police with rocks as they arrived to maintain order as the sealing of the home is carried out.
