In his Friday sermon in a main Tehran mosque, Imam Sheikh Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati said that every time he sees a photo of Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, he prays someone will “spend a bullet on her”.

The Muslim cleric also expressed his criticism of both Syria and Egypt, for their silence as Israeli forces continue the operation in Gaza. He had words of praise for Venezuelan’s leader, for ousting Israel’s diplomatic staff from his country, recalling his ambassador and cutting ties with Israel.
