**Hamas PM Ismail Haniyah in a message released from his place of hiding stated he feels a victory is near and the Gazans will not break despite the difficulties due to the embargo and the Israeli attack. Nevertheless he stated he will cooperate with efforts towards ending the violence and establishing a ceasefire.

Regarding the hamas guy’s message: I recall the guy on al-jazeera claiming Iraqi (Saddam) victories while it was the US military who were winning at the time.
