IDF Spokesman Brigadier-General Avi Benayahu explained on motzei Shabbos that Hamas has been hit hard in a number of areas, including its ability to manufacture, store and fire rockets.

Nevertheless he explained, the terrorists remain highly motivated and are still capable of firing rockets and continued attacks should be expected in the coming days as Israel works to actualize a situation that Hamas leaders decide it “no longer pays to fire rockets at Israel” because the price will be too high.

In an unrelated note, senior correspondent Ehud Ya’ari reported on motzei Shabbos that the Hamas delegation that traveled to Cairo arrived at the Rafiach border in an ambulance, highlighting the continued Hamas abuse of humanitarian symbols and practices.
