UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon telephoned Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Sunday, expressing his “disappointment” in Israel’s decision to ignore a UN resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. According to the Israel Radio report, the UN leader also telephoned Hamas leaders with the same message.
