In an expression of its outrage over the IDF operation in Gaza, which Venezuelan leaders are calling “state terror,” the Israeli ambassador and all the diplomatic staff is being expelled from Venezuela.
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez continues to condemn Israel, with his government releasing statements that the ongoing IDF operation is a “gross violation of international law”. Chavez went on to call the IDF operation a “Holocaust”.
Israel’s Foreign Ministry in response announced that Venezuela must decide which side it is on, and it has done so, opting to support terror instead of Israel, which is defending her citizens against rocket attacks. In response, Israel is ousting Venezuelan’s ambassador from Israel.
Venezuela is outspoken in its opposition to Israel and the United States, exhibiting its support for terror regimes. Of late, Venezuela has accused Washington of the poisoning death of the late PA (Palestinian Authority) leader, arch terrorist Yasser Arafat.

they have goverment healthcare in venezuela, its a great place to live
Not surprised that Chavez would expel the Israel ambassador. For a long time it has been said that there are training camps of Hamas and Hezbollah in Margarita Island. Chavez cronies are not exactly what you want to hang around with.
BTW regarding a comment by sammyjoe, Venezuela has NO government healthcare WHATSOEVER! A nice place to live, yes, without a dictator.
CHAVEZ OWNS CITGO.
WE MUST BE ACTIVE IN BOYCOTTING CITGO.
TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW THAT THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES IF THEY BUY ANYTHING FROM CITGO.
THE GAS STATION ON THE PALISADES IS CHAVEZ OWNED AS IS THE ONE ON OCEAN AVENUE & AVENUE O IN BROOKLYN. THERE ARE DOZENS MORE BUT THESE ARE THE ONES I MOST OFTER SEE BEING PATRONIZED BY OUR COMMUNITY.
Thinking Out Loud:
Thank you for the Tehillim link!
Hashem has taught us in last week’s Parasha Vayigash “HAVE NO FEAR of descending to Egypt, for I shall establish you as a great nation there. I shall descend with you to Egypt, and I shall surely bring you up…”
You are absolutely correct – Tellihim 24/7…while travel plans for all Venezuelan Yidden get passports in order for Aliyah. I suggest all Yidden everywhere in the world have our passports in order too. We know our future is in Eretz Yisroel. I’ll see you in Yerushalyim soon!
