Since the start of Operation Cast Lead, Israel Police has arrested 528 Israelis for taking part in violent protests and endangering life.
Most of the arrests were Israeli Arab citizens and some are left and right-wing Israelis protesting for and against the IDF operation.
On Monday (5 January), 225 people were still jailed and indictments are being handed down against 76 of them. Most of the arrests were made in the north and most of the suspects are under 25-years-old.

They should keep them locked up until the war is over (if they have to let them out at all)
