10:04PM IL: Among the IDF forces operating in Gaza are Golani Brigade soldiers, paratroopers, intelligence forces, and tanks. There is visible aerial support as Apache helicopter gunships continue firing air-to-surface missiles at terrorist targets. The Israel Navy is also giving support from three different vantage points. At present, the Islamic Jihad operations headquarters is being taken out from the air.

The fighting is reported as heavy and soldiers are instructed to create facts on the ground as swiftly as possible, namely to be on the offensive and take ground and drive terrorists out of the rocket-firing range area.
