9:07PM IL: Hamas reports its gunmen are firing mortars at IDF soldiers, Channel 2 News reports.
IDF troops are moving swiftly and precisely, well-aware of the difficulties in carrying out their mission.
Over recent months, the soldiers have trained and re-trained for this operation, running through simulations in bases with mock villages to better acquaint them for the ongoing mission based on intelligence reports and spy satellite imaging.
One should also remember that the troops, paratroopers and Golani Brigade soldiers, are among the finest infantry in the military and we continue davening for their success and safe return home.

thanx so much YWN for your updates, but i just wanted to remind your writers and all the readers that no matter how prepared the soldiers may be – the actual job is VERY difficult and they need our tefilos and siyata dishmaya. these soldiers are headed into the lions den – LITERALLY!!! just being “among the finest infantry in the military” is not enough – they need Hashems help – and our tefilos!!!
