The Belzer yeshiva in Bet Chalkiye closed on Wednesday afternoon as the Hamas warfare against southern communities intensifies. After lunch was served, the talmidim were instructed to pack their belongings and head home for an indefinite period of time due to the situation.

Most of the talmidim are residents of Yerushalayim and it is expected they will continue their seder of learning in the main Belz beis medresh in Kiryat Belz in Yerushalayim.
