In Beersheva, a major hotel was hit with a rocket. Rockets also hit the Yoav Council for the first time and a rocket landed on the Cross-Israel Highway, also known as the Yitzchak Rabin Highway or Kvish 6. The military censor prohibits publicizing the name of the hotel of street information, as well as the exact impact location of the rocket on Kvish 6.
At least 5 Grad Katyusha rockets have landed in Beersheva, striking populated areas. Other rockets landed in Ofakim, Nachal Sorek, Kiryat Malachi, and the Safir region.
