Another wave of Katyusha rockets have been launched at the Beersheva area with residents beginning to panic, realizing they are now part of the Hamas war against Israel, joining the Greater Sderot Area and other cities such as Ashkelon and Ashdod.
Sirens are now sounding in Kiryat Malachi, Ofakim and Ashkelon.
It would appear Hamas in intent on persuading the Security Cabinet, which is meeting now, to continue the offensive in Gaza. On that note, experts explain the badly-needed rains falling at this time make a ground forces incursion significantly more difficult, working to Hamas’ advantage.
Beersheba Mayor Rubik Danilovich reports no physical injuries in the last attacks, adding they made a wise decision when they closed schools, pointing out one of the rockets struck an empty school building, The mayor urges residents to remain in safe areas and not to go outside at this time.
Three rockets have just slammed down in Ofakim. No injuries reported.
