The ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) is monitoring the activities of Arab MKs, perhaps taking a lesson from former MK Azmi Bishara, who was learned to have acted as a Hizbullah front man, observing and reporting on activities in Israel to the enemy during the Second Lebanon War.

It appears that this time around, the intelligence community has learned its lesson and is not taking chances, paying closer attention to the activities of the Arab lawmakers, first and foremost, Dr. Ahmed Tibi.

Arab MKs have the capability of doing significant damage, having phone numbers of government officials in hostile Arab nations, and easily making contact with them. Tibi himself has recently made numerous trips to nations who do not maintain diplomatic relations with Israel.
