The IDF on Monday morning declared roads leading to Gaza-belt communities a closed military zone, referring to roads leading to the fields of the communities closest to the Gaza border.

It was first reported that the roads themselves are closed but Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) shortly after noon updated the situation, explaining the military designation refers to roads leading to the farming fields of the Gaza periphery communities.

Beginning in the area of Yad Mordechai Junction, including Gavim, Sa’ad, Be’eri and others, the area is closed and anyone wishing to enter must show an identity card with his/her address in one of the area communities.
