The government-run Nahariya Hospital has moved to heightened operational status in light of threats from Hizbullah to “burn” northern Israel. Hospital employees are instructed not to travel too far away from the facility and to be prepared to respond on short notice. The hospital has also begun preparing its underground shelters and treatment facilities.

A similar situation exists in Haifa’s Rambam Medical Center, the northern area’s primary trauma center and major medical center. Nothing is being reported at this time regarding Tzfas’ Rebecca Ziff Hospital.
