Science, Culture & Sport Minister Raleb Majadele on Sunday morning boycotted the cabinet meeting which will focus on the ongoing IDF operation in Gaza in an act of protest.
In response to the Arab minister’s move, Deputy Prime Minister (Shas) Eli Yishai called on Majadele to “boycott himself from all government and Knesset activities”, pointing out it is most unfortunate that the minister during the past years never saw the need to boycott a meeting or the Knesset when rockets were falling in Sderot and southern Israel.
