Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni on Thursday visited Egypt, responding to an invitation from Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak who called on Livni to prevent an IDF operation in Gaza. Mubarak fears an Israeli assault in Gaza will result in widespread rioting in Cairo by Islamic fundamentalists such as the Muslim Brotherhood.
Livni also met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit, who told her that Hamas’ weapons supply train is not coming from Egypt and Israel better not blame Egypt for this. The foreign minister’s statement contradicts all Israeli intelligence community reports, but Livni following her high-level meetings announced Egypt is not to blame for the widespread weapons smuggling from Rafiach.
Aboul Gheit brazenly told Livni that he and the Egyptian government have no idea how the weapons get to Gaza, and she did not seize the opportunity to correct the Egyptian official, seeking to avoid a diplomatic row. Mubarak called on Hamas to halt attacks against Israel, as well as calling on Israel not to institute collective punishment against Gaza residents.
Livni did however state Israel will not permit the continued attacks, and she has been a strong proponent for retaliating for each and every rocket, but her calls were ignored by Defense Minister Ehud Barak. She also told Egyptian officials she did not travel to Egypt to seek Egyptian permission for Israel to take action in Gaza.

Please do not put the grinning face of that man on the same page as a heartbreaking story of children living under the daily threat of falling rockets. A situation his government has allowed to continue for years, and a government that has given the Arab enemy gift after gift.
C’mon, get off your duff Israel, and exercise your responsibility to your poor citizens who are being racked daily with this physical and mental torture.

Once upon a time about 68 years ago people asked, and some are still asking, how did this happened that 6 million went without fighting back, not even lifting a stone?
Aha, there’s a lesson to learn here. We are starting a new era, where there will come a time that people will ask – How did this all happen, and they did not understand that it was all from Hashem? How were they so blocked to hope for tanks, airplanes, and guns to protect them?
Please Hashem, open their eyes to see.
We have heard this same refrain ad nauseum for years. The Zionists, both frum and frei, know they have no practical end solution. They can’t exterminate the Palestinians even though they would like to. They can’t expell all of them in ethnic cleansing as much as they would like to. The Palestinians are not going to go away, and are not going to agree to live on reservations and have their land stolen or live in open-air jails forever. So what is left? To end the Zionist regime just like apartheid was ended. Or just like Communism was ended. Why extend the agony for the obvious outcome?!
