Yaron Ben-Ezra, the deputy director of the District Election Committee, has asked Central Election Committee director Justice Eliezer Rivlin, to permit Greater Sderot Area residents to exercise their right to vote in voting stations around the country.

He explains in his request that many residents of Gaza belt communities have temporarily relocated to relatives in other cities and Election Day is also holiday and it would be fitting not to compel them to return to Sderot to vote.
