Channel 2 News reported on Tuesday night that Israel fighter planes conducted ‘warning fly-bys’ over Lebanese skies as a warning message to Syria after Israel called on Damascus not to supply Hizbullah with advanced anti-aircraft weaponry.
According to the report based on Arab sources, Israel sent a stern warning to Damascus, adding attempts to furnish Hizbullah with advanced weaponry would not pass quietly, adding Israel responded harshly, explaining since the 1970s, the deployment of anti-aircraft batteries in Lebanon in Israel’s eyes represents crossing a red line.
