The drop in temperatures around the country is apparent and according to the weatherman, the badly-needed rains are expected to begin falling on Tuesday in the north, working southward.

Sandstorms are expected in the southern areas as winds increase in intensity and on Mount Chermon, ski operators are anxiously awaiting the season’s first snowfall.

The rains in the north are expected to reach the center of the country by Tuesday night. Thundershowers are expected as well with forecasters predicting the heart of the storm expected on Wednesday, with blustery conditions predicted.
