For the second time in 10 days, the Knesset Finance Committee on Monday morning refused to vote to approve the government’s safety net plan, this time apparently due to a technicality that the treasury failed to prepare some of the details regarding the implementation of the plan.
At one point, an angered Finance Minister Roni Bar-On grabbed committee chair Prof. Avishai Braverman, who told Bar-On to remove his hands.
Bar-On presented the main points of the plan to committee members, but nevertheless, the vote did not take place since the presentation was incomplete.
