The Knesset Finance Committee on Wednesday approved NIS 11 million for construction projects and security needs throughout Yehuda and Shomron. The committee also approved NIS 600 million for Sderot area fortification and another NIS 30 million for Kollelim.

MK (Meretz) Avshalom Vilan expressed his adamant disapproval of the decision to give construction funds to young Yosh communities. Vilan stated all these communities are in fact illegal and it is somewhat mind boggling that the prime minister would be willing to now give money towards this. He also was very critical of Labor MK Avishai Braverman, the committee chair, for supporting the decision.
