Jerusalem District Court Judge Navah Ben-Ohr sentenced a 17-year-old resident of Jerusalem’s Pisgat Ze’ev neighborhood, to one year in prison for hate attacks carried out last year on Holocaust Day.
The youth and his colleagues decided they would randomly attack Arabs spotted in their neighborhood, and so they did, armed with wooden planks, pocket knives and other makeshift weapons.
Two Arab teens, 16 and 18, were attacked and one was stabbed, left bleeding on the street. The two sustained blows from a number of youths, who used their fists, the wood and other blunt objects.
